History: The Scientific-Research Center was established in 2019 on the basis of 7 scientific-research laboratories that operated at ASPU. The center consists of the department of Fundamental research, the department of Applied research and the department of Turkish studies.

History: The Scientific-Research Center was established in 2019 on the basis of 7 scientific-research laboratories that operated at ASPU. The center consists of the department of Fundamental research, the department of Applied research and the department of Turkish studies.

The chief of the department of applied research is doctor of philosophy in pedagogy, docent Gulshan Novruzova, the director of the department of Turkish studies is professor Elman Guliyev, doctor of sciences in Philology.

Currently, there are 2 senior scientific workers, 9 junior scientific workers, and 2 senior laboratory assistants are working in the Center.

Activity: According to the Regulation approved on September 18, 2020, the Scientific Research Center is a stuructual division which conducts researches with the help of modern technologies and research methods on fundamental and applied research in the field of natural and humanitarian sciences and the obtained results are used in the teaching process and is a structural unit that provides relevant suggestions for use in other areas of practice by choosing the priority areas of activity of ASPU. The center operates in interaction with other structural units of ASPU, and cooperates with institutes of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, other scientific institutions and universities, non-governmental organizations, foreign scientific and educational institutions, and conducts joint research.
