SABAH groups center

1. The purpose of creating SABAH

In order to improve the quality of teaching in higher education, to create a new and different environment in the higher education system, to educate educated, skilled and prepared students, to ensure personnel training in accordance with the growing demands of the labor market, SABAH groups established in the 2014/2015 academic year have addressed the following goals:

• Application of innovative teaching methods in education;
• Supporting learners' initiatives and applying best practice
• Development and stimulation of educators
• Expansion and integration of academic and business environments

2. SABAH groups project was created according to the order of the Ministry of Education No. 992 dated 15.09.2014.

3. The first majors, the number of students in each major is two majors and 34 students. SABAH groups, which started their activities with primary school teaching (22 students) and mathematics and IT teaching (12 students), currently have 4 majors (additional preschool training and upbringing and Azerbaijani language and literature teaching) and continues to work with 250 students.

Yagub Babayev, philology) At the same time, the participation of talented young teachers and professionals working in the field of production in the educational process creates an opportunity for young people to conduct classes with new teaching methods, and also contributes to the synthesis of theory and practical areas, professional education.

8. SABAH auditoriums are equipped with electronic boards, projectors and computers. One of the auditoriums for groups of primary school teachers is equipped with the equipment of the Healthy Education class.

10. Our students are in STEAM and Healthy education classes, Target and Cognition high school. At the same time, SABAH students get the opportunity of 2 weeks of additional experience in Healthy education classes based on our joint activity with the Healthy education - healthy nation project. Students who are interested in scientific research can do an internship at the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. Also, in order to improve their professional skills, they use the opportunity to get extracurricular work experience in various institutions (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Taxes, Banks, Asan service, etc.) on a voluntary basis.

12. A number of important measures and works:

• Organizing the Student Forum in 2014 and 2015,
• London Summer School in 2015 (Mathematics and informatics teacher student NijabatBabakhanova),
• In 2016, a march to "Heydar peak" located in Shahdag National Park (among 11 students, KhaleddinMammadov, a student of Mathematics and Informatics teaching specialty)
• Abu Dhabi Summer School in 2016 (Primary teacher student HamidaRzayeva)
• HamidaRzayeva, our student from the sub-bachelor's degree, participated in the MEC exam as a student of the 3rd academic year and scored 56 points.
• Winning at the Student Debate Forum: winners of SABAH I Debate Forum in 2016 (1st place winner "Bermud" team: LamanShikhmammadova, BayramovaChinare, HuseynovaKhataya), winners of SABAH III Debate Forum in 2018 (2nd place winner "Euthanasia" team: TuralMammadov, Kamala Guliyeva, SadagatAbdullayeva)
• Starting from 2017, holding the Sabah Career Winter School with the aim of imparting the skills necessary for a successful career start to SABAH students studying in the last year.
• Starting from 2016, the possibility of additional pedagogical experience in healthy education classes (students of the III academic year of primary school teaching),
• Participation in SABAH volunteer movement (Baku Euro 2015, SABAH volunteer, One Volunteer movement, Azan Service volunteer, Formula 1 volunteer)
• Winners of the knowledge half in the teaching specialty (NarminMahmudova, winner of III place in 2018, CherkazKarimova, winner of II place in 2019)
• Conducting STEAM trainings and experience in STEAM schools,
• Participation in training, seminars and meetings organized at ADA University and Hadaf high school.
• With the support of ASPU, 2 textbooks for students of SABAH groups were published: in 2018, didactic material on Mathematics (for 5th grades of secondary schools); Lesson examples in 2019 (review collection for students and young teachers).
