The "Quality Assurance" department was established on September 14, 2018. On March 6, 2019 the status of the department was approved by the rector of the university, prof. Jafar Jafarov. This department should carry out control and analysis in the directions of education, teaching, increasing the competitiveness of professors and teachers, socialization of students and integration into the international world, as well as the organization of the excellent management system of the university. It should prepare purposeful, improving projects. The mission of the "Quality Assurance" department at the university is to carry out the highest quality teaching, curriculum, research and management activities in the university through qualitative and continuous improvement, as well as to provide the highest quality systems and procedures to achieve this. The main task of the Quality Assurance department is to provide administrative and substantive support for quality assurance at all levels of the university, and to support institutional and teaching staff accreditation processes and content. Since its establishment, the "Quality Assurance" department has evaluated the activity of professors and teaching staff three times with certain points on 70 criteria.
