International students who want to study preparation course, bachelor degree and master degree at ASPU in 2023/2024 education year, can apply to the site of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan: portal.edu.az

List of documents to be submitted by foreign citizens
- Appropriately legalized (or supplied with Apostille) relevant document indicating relevant study level and records for all years and its notarized copy in Azerbaijani language (for foundation and bachelor studies);
- Appropriately legalized (or supplied with Apostille) and nostrificated relevant document indicating relevant study level and records for all years and its notarized copy in Azerbaijani language (for master studies);
- Reference certifying that the person is not carrier of a virus of any disease included in the list of dangerous infectious diseases (Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C) approved by the relevant exucutive authority;
- Notarized copy of the Passport or the border crossing document (passport with expiration date more than 1 year of application submission date to the University);
- Notarized copy of the Idendity Document;
- Autobiography;
- Proof of Language Proficiency (if avaliable);
- Copies of the Certificates, Diplomas and other relevant documents (if available).
Note:
- Foreign citizens having a permanent residence permit issued by the Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan can be admitted to Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University only on the basis of test exams conducted by the State Examination Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
- The citizenship of the Republic of Azerbaijan, along with the citizenship of a foreign country, cannot submit a document to Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University as a foreign citizen. They can be admitted to the university on the basis of test exams conducted by the State Examination Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Interviews:
As part of the admission process, the University will hold interviews with international applicants to assess their academic accomplishments from the secondary school, as well as their motivation, goals and interests. Students should be able to justify their choice of this particular University and to demonstrate whether their skills and competences as well as their motivation will help them gain good academic results and integrate themselves into the University’s cultural environment. Interviewers may ask students to tell about their academic strengths as well weaknesses (and the solutions they have taken to address these) in order to measure their prospective progress within the selected department. Students may also be asked about their academic. It is very important also that students be able to respond the question about where they see themselves after graduation and how they expect their knowledge and competence will contribute to the relevant industry in their own country.
