We present to you the winners of the 2nd season of the “Future Education Leaders of the Pedagogical University” competition:

Altunay Ahsan qizi Iskandarli is a 2020 graduate of Secondary School No. 2 in the Khojavend district. That same year, she was admitted to the Mathematics and Informatics Teaching program at the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University. From her first year, she joined the university’s Student Trade Union Committee and began working as a manager within the organization. In 2021, she was elected chair of the committee for her field of study. Since 2021, she has continued her education within the SABAH groups. From 2021 to 2024, she served as the faculty chair of the Student Trade Union Committee for the SABAH groups.

During her studies, she actively participated in various projects and competitions. She was the runner-up in the inter-university volleyball competition among SABAH students and a finalist in the knowledge contest dedicated to the “Year of Shusha.” She was also a finalist in the national round of the 48th ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest).

Altunay has worked as a coordinator in the School Principal Recruitment exam and gained practical experience through international student assessments such as TIMSS and ICILS. She won first place in the Azerbaijan round of The MaestRobot Competition & Festival. She also successfully completed the “Quality Ambassador” training program organized by the Education Quality Assurance Agency (TKTA), which involves student participation in university accreditation processes, and started her role as a Quality Ambassador.

Thanks to her high academic performance, she was awarded a named scholarship by the Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan. She is currently in her final year of studies.
