The rector of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University (ASPU), Professor Jafar Jafarov, Vice-Rector for International Relations Professor Mahira Huseynova, Head of the International Relations Department Gunay Maharramova, Dean of the Faculty of Philology Associate Professor Konul Hasanova, and Head of the Department of Modern Azerbaijani Language Associate Professor Konul Samadova were on a business trip to Gazi University in Türkiye.

During the visit, the leadership of the Pedagogical University held a meeting with the rector of Gazi University, Professor Ugur Unal. The meeting discussed existing and future cooperation prospects between the two universities, student and teacher exchange, the development of educational programs, and the implementation of joint projects in the field of scientific research.

In the second part of the visit, the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Assoc. Prof. Konul Hasanova, and the Head of the International Relations Department, Gunay Maharramova, met with the Dean of the Faculty of Education at Gazi University, Prof. Bilal Güneş. During the meeting, the parties evaluated the opportunities for inter-faculty cooperation. Later, the ASPU representatives became familiar with the faculty's activities and attended an Azerbaijani language lesson at the Azerbaijan Cultural Center operating under Gazi University.
